Introducing the Wood Notebook

Carefully designed and crafted real walnut notebooks engineered to inspire creativity. After years of making leather covers for Moleskine notebooks, we decided to design an improved notebook from the ground up. As creatives, we understand the importance of functional and beautiful tools and have spent the last two years perfecting the Wood Notebook. We aim to inspire creativity through the use of unique natural materials and thoughtful design.

After many rounds of prototyping and user feedback, we’ve decided to release 3 sizes of Wood Notebooks. The Pocket is an ideal companion for on the go note-taking while the Large and Extra Large is perfectly at home in a bag or on a desk. The dimensions are fine tuned for optimal writing and sketching.

 

 

Premium materials

We’ve developed a custom 3-ply real wood cover material which showcases the unmatched natural beauty of black walnut and is incredibly durable. At .08" thick, the cover boards are very strong and stable. Unlike some notebooks which use a cheaper chipboard back cover, both the front and back of our notebook is real walnut. The grain is hand oiled to perfection, letting the natural materials speak for themselves. Our logo is subtly engraved on the back cover allowing the grain to take center stage.

 

Functional Simplicity

After exhaustively testing many binding methods, we’ve decided to use a brass double coil for its functionality and durability. The coil allows the notebook to lie truly flat and for the cover to also be folded all the way behind. These design features improve ease of use in hand, or on a desk.

 

 

Plain, Ruled, or Dot Grid Paper

Our notebooks feature 120 pages of USA made 100% post consumer recycled paper. The 70 lb paper is smooth and doesn’t bleed. We’ve designed custom low contrast light grey ruled and dot grid paper so your ideas dominate the paper, not the lines.
